Thailand, the second largest economy in South East Asia, is strategically located in the centre of this rapidly developing region. The country has faced political turbulence in recent years, but the economy is resilient and has shown a positive trend this year which has brought confidence to the business environment, as Swedish companies have reported.
Currently, Thailand is focusing on becoming a value-added economy through the Thailand 4.0 plan which focuses investment in digitalization as well as higher skills in the workforce. Infrastructure investments, changing demographics and digitalization give opportunities for companies and there is a growing need for innovations and advanced technological solutions.
